And so it happened that the year has ended and the IT students had yet again delivered their charity based projects. Many were delighted to be done with their projects while others were over the moon for winning a prize for their hard work. While MGI staff, sponsors and clients looked on, memories and history were made.

All units are self catering and equipped to accommodate three students in single rooms consisting of furnished room with bed, study table, chair, bookshelf and curtains, student are more than welcome to bring their own personal belongings if they choose to, to make their stay on the residence as comfortable and enjoyable as a home away from home. 

The MGI men’s basketball team came out on top of the league against teams like University of Witwatersrand (WITS) and Vaal University of Technology (VUT) in the final. The team has come first four times over the last six years.

The MGI campus is situated in a lush green and tranquil area in Midrand South Africa, which is between Johannesburg and Pretoria. MGI has various sport facilities available. There are Soccer fields, Basketball, Volleyball and Squash courts. On the academic side there are loads of computer labs, lecturing venues and a library/media centre. MGI also have a canteen and a swimming pool for those relaxing moments of the day.
